Depending on your access authorities and the configuration of the table you may find this clickable icons in the grid area toolbar.

==== import from Excel sheet into database table ====

Icon is visible only when you have the proper access rights for this catalog object. Click to import data from Excel into the table. All data in table is deleted before it will be replaced by data from the Excel.
**Be careful! There is no way to restored delete records with a niota feauture.**

==== replace/update table from Excel sheet ====

Icon is visible only when you have the proper access rights for this catalog object. Click to import data from Excel into the table. All data in table **that is also in the Excel** is deleted before it will be replaced by data from the Excel.

==== validate table constraints and lookup ====

Icon only visible when there are lookups or constraints defined for the actual catalog object. Click to process the validations immediately for the whole table. Results of verification are written to a niota system table.
