===== How to upload data using Excel ===== If you need to upload data to niota from an Excel file, there are several conditions that have to be true. #1 You must have access to the Excel upload feature on the specific table\\ #2 you need an Excel that has the same structure as the target table in your database\\ #3 If your Excel workbook has more than one sheets, the sheet with our upload data must have the same name as your target table in the database.\\ A good way to get an Excel with the same structure than your target table, is to download the table data first.\\ Use download icon on the left to download data from niota\\ {{:niota-docs:pasted:20251124-164218.png}} After successful download you should find an excel workbook in your download folder.\\ {{:niota-docs:pasted:20251124-164228.png}} Now you can modify data in the Excel. * Please note, that 0 is currently replace by / - in case your column does not allow null, please set a proper value. {{:niota-docs:pasted:20251124-164250.png}} If you are allowed to upload data to a table you see one or two upload icons on the left of the grid.\\ There are two possible types of uploads: #1 – full upload / all records in the table are replace by the records in the Excel you provide.\\ #2 – partial upload / only the records from your Excel.
