====== Introduction ====== niota is highly configurable end user tool for data management and table data editing. Currently this database management systems are supported: * MS SQL * Oracle * Teradata * MySQL To edit data with niota, users do not have to know database syntax. They can do it by using a comfortable grid interface. To asure correctness of data, numerous rules and restrictions can be set on user level or group level. To support users in there editing process a lot of features are available and can be configured on table leve or user(group) level. Here are some features of niota * cross database environment lookup tables * master-detail tables * custom rules for data input check * run stored procedures * call web services * Excel upload/download * bulk upload Administrators can set up the rules and handle user rights or even edit the grids, while business users can focus on ediditing data within their configurable boundaries.
