Niota is a database client with extra functions for the following database environments: MSSQL, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL. Users do not have to know SQL syntax to edit data tables, they can do it by using a grid interface. Numerous rules and restrictions can be set on user or group level to protect data integrity. Here are some features of Niota: lookup tables, master-detail tables, custom rules for data input check, run stored procedures against database servers, call web services, etc.

Administrators can set up the rules and handle user rights or even edit the grids, while simple users can act within their boundaries.
